Some wood, leaves and trees and you have a Photo op!

Today I went to the post office and on my way home I saw this little set up of benches and trees in the Piazza Calderini and knew it was meant for a Photo Shoot for Taryn. So I took her out of the stroller and had a little fun. It was freezing cold and it had sprinkled (rain) just a few minutes before so I had to be fast! There was a couple of logs and when I sat her on them I could tell she was very happy to be there. I caught her kicking her feet and talking to herself while looking at the leaves below and then she smiled for me and the camera.

Taking these photos made me excited for our Family photos we're taking this Sunday (keeping my fingers crossed that nap times and weather allow us to take them!)

Side note- broke a glass jar on the floor today. That makes two things I've shattered within a week. I'm thankful for brooms and that Taryn was in her high chair.

Not feeling myself- I've got an earache/ear infection/ someone stop my ear from hurting/ somethings wrong and I feel totally off. I'm planning on going to the doctor (there is an American one associated with Johns Hopkins- yeah!) Maybe that's why I can't hear what anyone says to me. And this whole time I thought it was just the loud street noises....

Mailed off my packages which crossed off a lot on my to-do list! Maybe the next time I go to the Post office I won't have to pause and think so hard about what the people behind the counter are trying to tell me or ask me. I will get better at Italian!

December 14th
Scripture Reading: Doctrine and Covenants 93:4
Activity: Listening to Christmas music and dancing along (Taryn favors Elvis's "Blue Christmas" and anything Sufjan Stevens)

  1. I really don't think she could be any cuter. And she is a perfect mix between you too. I feel like I see both Tyson and you equally in here.
