Today was a simple art activity for Taryn. I thought making snowmen would be easy and fun- but I think next year it would be more fun to do them with marshmellows (eating and making art at the same time!) or fuzzy balls etc... but for this year- colored pencils and paper did the trick.

After tracing, cuting, and taping the bodies together, I gave Taryn her's and she promptly eat it. I had to remake the head after I found part of it in her mouth- it's all part of the experience!

She then thought the colored pencils were more fun. We also watched some Snowman videos and listened to "Frosty the Snowman" by various artists after I realized I couldn't sing all the words by myself.

The finished product! I kinda love that her's is wrinkled from being played with and eaten. That's what baby's do and I'm happy to let her do it- it was her art activity too!

December 6th-
