Peppermint bark and a movie to start things off

One of the few remaining towers in Bologna

Some pictures from last weekend and our little window shopping around Italy. I love that everyone is afoot here so window displays are that much more important. I watch as they stop and stare and then comment about what ever is on display. I've been known to do the same things too!

Tyson has mastered the 'eating gelato while holding Taryn in the baby carrier.' I think it's almost time for us to flip the carrier around and start carrying her on our back. She is getting so big so fast.

We can't quite understand how Christmas almost a week away. Things are finishing up for Tyson with school- don't worry- he still has a lot of readings and a big project to keep him busy over break! After feeling burnt out after a long week, Tyson came home with a a few movies for us to watch this weekend from the Library. We both laughed as I pulled out the movie I had gotten from the library that day too! Great minds think alike!

I bought some candy canes from one of the open air Christmas markets and a bar of chocolate to make Peppermint Bark. We finished it off in just a few minutes ...it was a small batch :)
