A Fun Visitor

My brother, Tyson, had an interview in Prescott, Az which is about 1 1/2 -2 hours from where we live. So he flew in, drove to the interview, spent the night in our apartment, and then flew home the next morning!
It's always great to see family even when it's just a short trip. Thank you Tyson for the Sonic dinner! ( we discovered it's basically the only place open after 10:00pm) and it was delicious! And I quote, "That's the best $20.00 I have ever spent!"- Tyson. Yes- It was soo good.
And that is my morning face.
Tyson and family- you are always welcome to visit anytime! Our couch is always open! :)

Having fun Laotian Style

Tyson's parents sent him a Crossbow for Christmas. This is used in Laos to kill rodents. So naturally we had to test it out.
Let me tell you, it can probably kill a lot more than that.
Let's just say Baby Smith won't be able to touch this until he is 21 years old. (Seriously it may look small but that arrow tip can really penetrate far into an object. It got stuck inches deep into the tree behind the Lecture book we were aiming at.)

It looks really awesome displayed on our wall.

A Wicked Weekend

We went on an adventure. It took us to Tucson, Arizona where we discovered fun art, awesome houses painted with every color of the rainbow, a great Musical, and our new favorite sandwich place.
This amazing sandwich shop couldn't have fit in better with the "Wicked" theme of the day.

Tyson ordered the "wicked" sandwich and while we ate, we raved about this sandwich place. Had the best day with this handsome guy. And LOVED the musical!

33 1/2 weeks

Today I am 33 1/2 weeks along with my pregnancy. It's crazy to think that our little guy could enter the world in just about 6 weeks (or less)! But I think I will make it the full 6 weeks (or even longer!)

I am beginning to waddle. Yup. Just a little bit though

I run into everything with my belly. Chairs, walls, people etc... and my center of gravity is WAY off so pardon me if I start drifting closer to you, or even run into you, as we walk side by side. (My co-workers have to be used to it by now)

I have lots of dreams of being back in school and not having my homework done for that day when I get to class. I think this relates to my inner gut feeling of not being prepared for lil' Baby Smith to join our family (because sometimes I worry about the birth and the safe arrival of lil' Smitty)

He likes to kick my ribs. And I am pretty sure he will be the next David Beckham because there is a lot of force behind them! Ouch!

Oh and breathing....wait...let me catch my breath..
..ok...i...am....very....short...winded....these....days...

I am grateful that we will be adding to our little family soon. I am excited/nervous/scared for the changes. I'm happy that this lil' guy has been healthy and safe for these past 8 months. Loving these little changes!
