Tyson goes flying!

the tiny plane that took my husband up up and up into the sky
ya.....i would have been lookin' just like that too
Tyson said, "Jayden was excited. I...well....I was a little nervous...."
Jayden flys! He has been training and does such a great job! He has to fly a certain amount of hours. This is just routine for him to be up in the air! A trip around the lake...sure...why not? We've got time....

Saguaro Lake- what a beauty from the sky!

Just a Spoon full of sugar...

Outside ASU Gammage Theater is the giant Mary Poppins Truck.

Tyson went with Janette, Janalee and Amanda to see Mary Poppins. He loved it! Tys said that Bert was his favorite character. He enjoyed the fact that the musical had a bigger story to it than the movie did.

Fondue Fun

The Booth family invited Tyson and I for a Fondue Sunday Dinner on Valentine's Day. We enjoyed delicious Cheese fondue (dipping ham, broccoli, brussel sprouts, and bread!)
For dessert we had a Chocolate Fondue and a Lemon Fondue (pictured above). We dipped rice krispy treats, cream puffs, pineapple, bananas and angel food cake!
Thank you for the great dinner and dessert!

Love Day

Heart shaped pancakes for breakfast
The complete "1,2,3,4" series.
Tyson had this planned for me for Valentines day. He coordinated it with one of "our songs" -Plain White T's "1,2,3,4"

Secret Admirer day 4

HaPpY vAlEnTiNe'S dAy!

Today Tyson gave me this! This was #4 of his Secret Admirer series. Plus- this is a saying that we always say to each other. It is perfect!

Secret Admirer day 3

Saturday night I got home from work and was talking to Tyson about my day when I spotted these BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS on the table. Circus Roses are my favorite ever since I got them from Tyson for our first Valentine's Day- one year ago. My "Secret Admirer" gave them to me and then revealed himself in the note- it was TYSON! :) I am such a lucky girl!

Love

This morning Tyson and I were talking and at the same time we realized we have been married for 3 months TODAY! We reflected on how we have known each other for over a year now and how we are so happy to be married to one another.
In Primary today, the children sang, "I Love to See the Temple." When we sang the 2nd verse tears filled my eyes:

" I love to see the temple. I'll go inside some day.
I'll cov-'nant with my Father, I'll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I've learned this truth:
A family is forever."

Thoughts of 3 months ago filled my heart and mind as I reflected on our Temple marriage and our love that has grown for each other. I thought of how much I love Tyson and how LUCKY I am to be married to a worthy priesthood holder. He is the light of my life. He makes me so happy. Marrying Tyson is the best decision I ever made.

Disc Golf

In The Family: A Proclamation to the World the First Presidency of the church has taught us that "successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities."

Both Brianna and I wanted to get out of the house on Saturday to do something fun and enjoy the perfect weather we have been having. I borrowed a DISC GOLF set from my sister Janette a couple of weeks before, but we hadn't been able to use it yet. So, even though it was a breezy day, we went to a park in Scottsdale that has a disc golf course, and we played 9 holes. (There are actually 18. We only played 9 because 1-some of the baskets were to close to the water and we didn't have confidence in our skills and 2-we didn't have enough time anyway)

Look at that determination!

It is actually a lot harder than we thought it would be...

Don't be fooled by that video. Brianna was actually pretty good, and, though it is hard to admit, she beat me. I can't remember what the score was exactly. If I remember correctly, she beat me by 3 points.

We had a lot of fun! And we are looking forward to maybe trying a different course in the future.

How I Do Valentine's

I tried to be creative this year for Valentine Decorations. So I used :

old frames
scrapbook paper
stamps
stickers
Ribbon
"Love" sign from 2 years ago

and put these together.
It was a fun project and I tried to stretch my artistic ability

**one of my favorites is the purple paper with a stamp and jewel on it because in the corner it says "amore"
**and the stringed hearts - that one just came into my head as I was making it.

Red Velvet

I made these wonderful little things yesterday. Red Velvet Cupcakes with a Cream Cheese frosting.

I got the recipe from a baking book Tyson gave me for Christmas. I love that book with all my H.E.A.R.T.

Tyson decorated them with sprinkles as I did the icing. I do have to say, he is the best sprinkler ever.
