Taryn's drawings

I LOVE her Magna Doodle drawings.
She creates them in seconds and I've made a point to try and take a picture of each one. Her drawing is changing every day and I want to remember this phase of stick arms coming out of heads, stick legs, and larger than life heads :)

A picture of Hadleigh that Taryn drew a few weeks ago.
"Mom, this is Hadleigh, this is her face, this is her body, this is her tube where she gets her food." Taryn draws pictures of Hadleigh with her tube or occasionally  pretends her baby dolls have feeding tubes. She cares for her sister so much and knows that even though Hadleigh has a tube, she is still her sister. Hadleigh's tube has been incredibly helpful but I wish she didn't have to have it at all.

A little photo shoot with the girls

These two are smart, happy, adventurous,  beautiful, determined, kind and so much more. Love these two with all my heart.
(from a few months back- Hadleigh 10 months, Taryn almost 3.5 years)

Fall Festival

Popcorn, hay rides with the horses Frank & Stein, balloon animals, and lots of bouncy houses and one-on-one time with Daddy…. Taryn was in heaven at our neighborhood FREE fall festival.
So glad that Tyson and Taryn happened upon it while dropping off our library books. It was pretty much the best thing that could happen for a 3 year old :)

Everyday scenes- sick days

This past week we were out. All us girls had Hand Foot Mouth. I was so worried the second Taryn came down with it and when I figured out what it was. I was terrified it would be the worst thing ever, as my friends as said it was, and that everyone in our house would get it.
Well, 3 out of 4 is close enough!
Tyson has that amazingly awesome immune system and hardly ever gets sick. Lucky guy!!

The above picture is one of my favorites.
He and the girls played Candy Land together during Tyson's lunch break last week.
Tyson worked from home for 3 days last week because we thought it would be best for him to stay away from work to not spread the disease and also, I was so weak the first day, it was hard for me to do anything but sleep. He did the grocery runs, helped clean, did dishes (over and over again!), helped with dinner and took Taryn to a fall festival while Hadleigh and I were still getting better.
We love Daddy!
He made that week of sickness sooo much better.
Thank you for working from home and saving our sanity while we were isolated!

Taryn, like with most things, was quick to have HFM and quick to get over it. So while we tried to stay isolated, we took a lot of walks outside. It was great to get out in the beautiful Fall weather and have a chance of scenery!
We found this giant leaf on one of our walks and had to bring it home to show Tyson.

Trying to laugh and have a good time in the middle of being sick.

Hadleigh doesn't hide her emotions.
She was miserable for a few days with her fever and blister rashes.
Poor girl. As if she hasn't been through enough already!!!!

We're so glad that HFM is done and gone and that us girls are back to normal!
Taryn asked me this morning,

"Mom, can I go to gymnastics this week?"
B-"Yes, Taryn. Because you are all better!"

Lil' T-"Can I go to preschool?"
B-"Yup- you're all better"

Lil' T-"Can I go to the park?"
B-"Yup- because you're all better!"
Lil' T -"YAY!!!!!!"

Everyday scenes- my two little munchkins

Grocery shopping in this cart, with a free cookie for each girl, made for the best shopping trip ever. Thank you, Harris Teeter.

Our little Jack Jack from The Incredibles look alike

Sister morning snuggles

Their faces!!

No idea how she can sleep like that.

Pirates for the day. (guess Hadleigh's parrot was taking a nap??)

When picking out her own outfit and putting it on,
"Mom, I'm dressed like a zebra today!"

"Mom don't take a picture! Help me!"
Sleeping all night can get rough sometimes.

Their faces! Again!
Daddy/daughter Saturday playtime at the library

This little princess :)

Oh so sorry Hadleigh…. :)

Playing and munching on her apple

This is what happens when Mom and Hadleigh's O.T. are too busy talking to each other.

Clear the roads, she's on a mission. And that hair... achieved without a convertible!
