Disc Golf

In The Family: A Proclamation to the World the First Presidency of the church has taught us that "successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities."

Both Brianna and I wanted to get out of the house on Saturday to do something fun and enjoy the perfect weather we have been having. I borrowed a DISC GOLF set from my sister Janette a couple of weeks before, but we hadn't been able to use it yet. So, even though it was a breezy day, we went to a park in Scottsdale that has a disc golf course, and we played 9 holes. (There are actually 18. We only played 9 because 1-some of the baskets were to close to the water and we didn't have confidence in our skills and 2-we didn't have enough time anyway)

Look at that determination!

It is actually a lot harder than we thought it would be...

Don't be fooled by that video. Brianna was actually pretty good, and, though it is hard to admit, she beat me. I can't remember what the score was exactly. If I remember correctly, she beat me by 3 points.

We had a lot of fun! And we are looking forward to maybe trying a different course in the future.
