Bath Time

Bath time is a favorite of Taryn's. Even though her baths are currently taking place in the kitchen sink, for I don't know how much longer, she enjoys being in water and doesn't mind me scrubbing her with soap bubbles. Tyson helps me take her out of the bath so she can be quickly warmed up in her special towel. This towel was made by a wonderful lady in our last ward who gave it to Taryn. She makes these towels by hand because they are too thick to fit through a sewing machine and she makes them long so the children can grow into the towel. My favorite part of the it is the hood. Talk about a labor of love! The hood part would be so hard to sew because of the thick towel lining! Taryn loves this towel and Tyson lovingly refers to Taryn as his "little yoda" when she is all bundled up.

P.S. Notice her tongue in the last picture? It's something we've seen her do everyday and it's pretty cute.

  2. I loved seeing all the little kids in hooded towels when I worked at the pool. And now that you mention it they did kinda look like Jedi's :)
