Hello Mr. President, can your daughters come out to play?
On Wednesday we took a day off of unpacking and went into the heart of Washington D.C. to do some sight-seeing. I became very emotional as I walked into the Lincoln Memorial and gazed at Mr. Abraham Lincoln. I couldn't be more happier to share the history of our beautiful country with my little family. I am proud to be an American and proud of all the work the citizens of America have put forth to make America what it is today. Tyson and I both talked about our memories we had from first visiting D.C. , each of us about 12 years ago. I came with my family and Tyson visited with a school group.
We saw so much and by the end of the day we were exhausted. We enjoyed the air conditioning of the Metro on our way to dinner at Good Stuff Eatery. We noticed it the other day as we walked around Crystal City and it did not disappoint and I would recommend trying all of their mayo's with your fries. Mango Mayo? Yes please!

There is still so much to see together in Washington D.C.! We're glad we have this time together before Tyson goes back to school to see D.C. together.
What an amazing city. If you get the time, and if the budget allows, Ethan really enjoyed the spy museum. It's a private museum--not funded by the government--so the admission price is like $20. Jackie said she and her husband went on a date. It's fairly new and therefore not on the list of favorite spots, but it you get a chance check it out.
