We came home after sight seeing on Saturday and Noi said she needed to go to the local market to pick up fresh fruit. Janis told me it would be a great experience so I grabbed my camera and we headed to the local market where only Thai's go. IT. WAS. AMAZING! I only wish my camera battery hadn't died. I was able to get a few shots before hand though and it made me so happy. Noi showed me how to pick the good mangosteens and she also saved me from being hit by scooters, cars and tuktuks. Note to self. Remember to watch your step as you are taking the experience all in. These are the experiences that I love. Not the almost gettting hit by objects but experiencing what the locals do.
That is so cool. I'm jealous. The farmer's market here in Redmond is cool but not that cool. Keep posting!
