We spent some time at "Turtle Park" and watched Taryn throw sand up in the air and put it on top of her head. I had forgotten that she hasn't seen sand in almost 10 months because parks in Italy had the spongy turf and grass. Just like the rocks at the Boboli Gardens in Florence, Taryn picked up fist fulls of sand and just watched them drop to the groun.
Taryn has been talking so much more and has been enjoying the fact that there are more people around to follow and play with. With a new home to explore, Taryn has become very independent and continues to discover new and fun places. I can't wait to catch it on video to share.
We've also been enjoying some wonderful California breakfast burritos, tacos, and burgers. Oh so yummy.
