Our quick trip to the American History Museum to see the trains and cars!

We woke up one morning to rain and I decided it would be a great day to spend some time at the American History Museum. One of the awesome benefits of living so close to D.C. is being able to drive right up the museum on a rainy day, spend a few hours inside, get back in the car and be home within 10 minutes. We hadn't seen the big trains or cars in a lot time so this was a great little trip.

Taryn was determined to finish her riveting in time. She's no Rosey but I'll keep her :)
We toured a bit and saw the Star Spangled Banner- which always makes me tear up a bit, brought out our lunches and ate inside the museum then headed home
